We were so lucky to be able to go to California for Thanksgiving. We left Wednesday after James got off of work. We drove all night.....and it was a long, long, long night. We got into a bit of weather, and at one point we had to pull off the rode to wait it out. I am pretty sure that we both lost about ten years off of our lives from all the stress!Rebecca had arranged for all of us to have Thanksgiving dinner at Maggiano's in Costa Mesa. We thought it would be easier than going to Poppy and Grandmama's house when they haven't been feeling very well. So 39 of us went out to dinner!
It was awesome to see everyone and I can honestly say it was one of the funnest Thanksgiving Dinners we have had. We laughed, and played around and we didn't have to cook or clean up...how do you beat that! It was wonderful to see all the family that we haven't been able to see. It was especially nice to finally meet Gigi too! She is adorable.
