A Very Special Weekend

I was so lucky to be able to go to Utah this last weekend to a very special event! Katie, Paul, and Nora were all sealed in the Draper Temple and all I can say is that it was amazing! Everything was perfect and I am so grateful that I was able to go. Nora was beautiful of course, and Katie and Paul were radiant. Yeah for the McPhee's!!! We love them all so much. After the temple, we all went to the Foutz's house. They had the most amazing food and it was fun to celebrate such an important event!

P.S. The cupcakes were incredible!!!

Penguin Time

Every year at the kid's school, the second grade classes put on the annual Penguin "Black and White Revue". It is adorable! The kids all sing songs about the different types of Penguins. They all dress up too, and it is really fun. Olivia was so nervous that she would mess up, but she did an awesome job. Great Job Liv!

Holy Snow!

So this week has been CRAZY. The kids had Monday off for Martin Luther King Day, Tuesday and Wednesday were Snow Delay Days. For all my California friends....that means the kids go to school two hours later because of the weather. Today, and most likely tomorrow school is cancelled all together. What have we been doing....SURVIVING! We have shoveled off the driveway countless times (which is like an ice skating rink in this kind of weather, it makes clearing it extremely hard), Aunt Shelly took the kids this morning sledding (They had a blast...Thanks Shelly), working on my, I mean Elijah's Science Fair Project, and building snowmen. It has been a fun and different week, but I am ready for real life...like the kids back on a normal schedule.

Happy Birthday Sister!

The Blair women went out to lunch the other day to celebrate big sister's birthday. We went to Costa Vida, which makes the most amazing sweet pork, green chili burritos! But because we are all participating in the Biggest Loser Blair Challenge, we all had plan boring salads. Never the less....it was fun. Happy Birthday Tam! (We missed you Melissa B!)

A Rockstar's Photo Shoot

Thanks to Shutterfreek Photography, Olivia was able to rock a photo shoot. She felt really special goofing around, and the photographer really knows how to get the shots. Thanks Shutterfreek!

His First Time Passing the Sacrament

What a neat day today was! It was so exciting to watch Elijah pass the sacrament for the first time....I would have brought my camera if I could have. He was so worried about doing it correctly and of course he did. His Dad sat on the stand, crying the whole time. We were both very proud parents. Great job Elijah!!!

Dad Finally Arrives in San Diego

James came to pick us up from our vacation on Monday. He was very excited to visit with his family. We spent the two days that he was there, hanging out with his family, and visiting some local restaurants that we all have missed.

It was warm enough for the kids to take a dip in the pool, and James helped them along. It was near 80 degrees outside, but the pool was a bit chilly at 50 degrees. Even so, the kids had fun swimming in Grandmama's pool.

Dinner with the Rose's

On Sunday the kids and I went to our GREAT friend's home, the Rose's for dinner. Julie had made delicious soups, fresh homemade rolls, and fudgie brownies with ice cream. It was all delicious and the kids devoured their food. It was fun to catch up with dear friends and have the kids play together. Thanks Julie, your the best!

A Night Out With the Girls

I really do have the greatest friends! While I was in San Diego I went to the lake every morning at 6:30 to walk with the greatest girls. It was just like old times.

On Friday the 1st we were able to go out. We went to the Cheesecake Factory. We each ordered an appetizer and everyone shared. It was the best way to eat, we got to try so much, and it was all so good.

After dinner we went to Cara's house where we played the funniest game called Curses. It had us doing some of the funniest things like acting like your hands were glued to your head, or howling like a wolf when someone mentioned a food item. It was hilarious and a great party game.

Thanks to all of my friends who took time out of their busy lives to meet up with me. They are all great and mean so much to me!
