Dad came home from the hospital today. He has not completely recovered but we are glad to have him. He was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis, which is a virus that attacks the spine and sometimes leads to paralysis. He is using a walker right now, and will undergo intense steroid treatment, but the doctors are hopeful for a full recovery. We are truly grateful that he is on the mend.

I'm so glad he's home. My niece was diagnosed with the exact same thing years ago, and she recovered fully. Good luck and happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
